Brian McKnight Honors Kobe Bryant with ‘Can’t Say Goodbye’

Brian McKnight has released the new single “Can’t Say Goodbye.” Brian was inspired to write this song after the loss of his friend Kobe Bryant.

Started by Vanessa Bryant the MambaOnThree Fund exists to honor and support loved ones of the seven other victims involved in the tragedy that occurred on January 26th, 2020.

All donations to the Fund will be directed to their families; Alyssa Altobelli, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Payton Chester, Sarah Chester, Christina Mauser, and Ara Zobayan.

Brian McKnight told TMZ of the single;

“I did write this song but I can’t take credit. This song wrote itself”

Brian and Kobe collaborated on the 1998 single “Hold Me.” Kobe spit on the BM track. During his days of wanting to be a rap star and after signing with Columbia.

McKnight also once honored Bryant in his song “I Love LA.
